Wedding Flowers in Bath & Surrounding Somerset Venues

As a florist based in Bath, we design wedding flowers across the city and surrounding Somerset countryside. From sculptural ceremony installations and abundant floral arches to garden-led bridal bouquets and refined reception tables, each design responds to the character of its setting.

The work below features selected weddings created at some of Bath’s most distinctive venues - outdoor ceremonies, historic churches, country houses and intimate city restaurants - where floral design became part of the architecture of the day.

An Outdoor Indian Wedding at Hamswell House, Bath

Set high above the Somerset countryside on the edge of the Cotswolds, this vibrant Indian wedding at Hamswell House in Bath unfolded across gardens, lawn and marquee, blending joyful celebration with garden-led floral design.

The day began with Jagjit’s Baraat procession, 190 guests arriving in full voice and colour, setting an electric tone that carried through every part of the celebration. Against panoramic countryside views, the ceremony took place outdoors beneath the estate’s ancient lime tree, where layered aisle meadows softened the lawn and framed the gathering naturally.

Designed to feel rooted in the landscape, the floral meadows were generous and textural, moving with the breeze and echoing the tones of the surrounding gardens. Pastel blooms in nuanced peach, buttercream, blush and powder blue created movement and lightness, balancing the scale and energy of the day with softness and restraint.

Bridesmaid bouquets carried the same palette - dahlias, garden roses and delicate seasonal stems arranged with a loose, considered hand. The bridal bouquet combined sculptural orchids with trailing texture, designed to feel both modern and romantic against the clean lines of Lucy’s gown.

As a Somerset and Bath wedding florist experienced in Indian and multicultural celebrations, Florista designs flowers that honour tradition while remaining rooted in a refined, garden-inspired aesthetic. From vibrant Baraat processions to outdoor lawn ceremonies and marquee receptions, the floral approach adapts to each moment while maintaining cohesion throughout the day.

Following the ceremony, the celebration flowed seamlessly into the marquee reception. A draped fabric installation by Drap.d softened the architectural structure, while floral bowls and table arrangements continued the ceremony palette indoors, ensuring continuity between garden and gathering.

Planned and curated by Mose &, the day moved effortlessly between exuberant tradition and considered design. From confetti-lined pathways to an unforgettable wedding breakfast entrance filled with music and movement, every detail contributed to a wedding that felt expansive yet intimate.

The result was a wedding that felt immersive yet refined - florals that grounded the celebration while allowing the energy of the day to take centre stage.

A Spring Ceremony at Temple of Minerva

Part of Bath’s Historic Venues, Temple of Minerva offers an outdoor ceremony setting in the centre of the city, framed by classical columns and surrounded by botanical gardens.

For this wedding, we created overflowing baskets of spring flowers in an English country garden style. Sweet peas, garden roses and seasonal blooms were gathered generously at the base of the columns, creating a soft sweep of colour.

In this setting, florals can feel abundant and joyful. The open air, historic stone and surrounding greenery lend themselves naturally to layered, romantic arrangements that celebrate the season.

From The Royal Crescent to Combe Hay Church & The Olive Tree

This Bath wedding unfolded across three of the city’s most distinctive settings, beginning with bridal preparations at The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa. Planned and coordinated by Daughter Bloom, the day moved seamlessly from historic ceremony to intimate Michelin-starred dining.

The ceremony followed at Combe Hay Church, where an abundant floral arch framed the church entrance. Layered roses, hydrangea and textured foliage softened the historic stone and created a natural focal point for arrival.

The celebration continued at The Olive Tree, a Michelin-starred restaurant in the centre of Bath. Here, the scale shifted to artful floral bowls and centrepieces, designed to sit comfortably within an intimate dining setting while echoing the romantic palette of the day.

Across the day, the floral design moved from architectural backdrop to statement entrance to considered table detail, evolving naturally with each space.

A Grand Country House Wedding at Farleigh House, Bath

At Farleigh House, floral design centred on scale and impact.

A high-impact stairway installation transformed the entrance, layering textured foliage, Roses and Delphinium into a sculptural cascade that complemented the grand interior. Reception tables were abundant, a mixture of bud vases filled with Peonies, Roses, Sweet Peas and Hydrangea clouds.

The composition created depth and rhythm throughout the space while maintaining a cohesive garden-led aesthetic.

An Elopement at The Bath Spa Hotel

Set within landscaped gardens just beyond the centre of Bath, The Bath Spa Hotel is part of the Macdonald Hotels & Resorts collection and offers a classic Georgian setting for weddings and elopements.

For this intimate celebration, the bride carried a bouquet of sweet peas and garden roses, softly gathered and scented, designed to sit naturally against the hotel’s pale stone and garden surroundings.
